What is Remar

Remar is a non-profit, non-government organization, with a group of people dedicated entirely to work of human aid; volunteers, the majority of whom previously were themselves helped to come out of desperate situations.

We maintains our doors open day and night with commitment in helping the most needy, channelling human and economic resources in order to give hope and aspirations for the future.

REMAR is a charitable organization which has the privilege of being the instrument, in the countries we operate in, through which millions of drug addicts, prostitutes and child delinquents have come off the streets and prisoners out of prisons and have been helped in their spiritual, physical, professional and family restoration. Many of them have been rehabilitated and have returned to their families and employment, whilst others have stayed in REMAR to dedicate their lives to helping the needy. This is the act of changing from being a negative element in society to being useful and beneficial to that same society. They help others in a self giving way to come out of all kinds of social problems. They are already working in over 73 countries and 16 communities in Ghana alone, helping and caring for drug addicts and alcoholics, abandoned children, single mothers, prisoners, aids patients and all kinds of needy people.
